i had a really nice stay at spencer court hotel! got a free upgrade to a double room with ensuite, which was super comfy! the staff were friendly and helped me with my bags, and the shower was clean and good. the location is great too, just a short walk to the seafront and cafes around! overall, for a budget place it met my needs well!
the decor definitely needs updating, and the towels could be fresher, they looked a bit tired. also, some dodgy wall sockets were a bit concerning.

Unfortunately, we were in twin rooms instead of the doubles we requested, which was a bit disappointing.

A lot of cleanup needed!!! The decor looks like it hasn't seen an update since the 1950s, and the bathroom facilities are cramped and need serious work!!!
